The lack of cyber security professional membership organisations is in line with the lack of a specialist recruitment market and the apparently poor take-up of professional certifications. One of the strands of the Government's 2016 ICT Policy was the development of professonal bodies; it was due to be delivered in 2018 - there is no clear evidence that it has yet delivered. Support to building professional bodies in-country could quickly accelerate Tanzania to Level 3.
