Assessment Commentary

TZ-CERT was founded in 2010 and is both a member of FIRST and AfricaCERT. The organisation appears to be well organised and, thanks to being part of TCRA, is central to several capacity-building initiatives. An ENISA-style audit has not been carried out as part of this CSMM assessment but the TZ-CERT website gives evidence that the organisation is likely to be meeting most of the Tier 2 requirements.
