Assessment Commentary
The 2011 Computer Misuse Act and the 2019 Data Protection & Privacy Act are useful legislative tools to tackle cybercrime but there is little in the way of evidence of serious investment in, or planning for, a coordinated approach to improving Uganda's cyber security posture.
