The Uganda CERT (UG-CERT) was established in 2013 and has been a member of FIRST since 2017; it is also a partner in AfricaCERT. UG-CERT is a subsiduary organisation within the Uganda Communications Commission. Whilst it has not been formally assessed as part of this research project, it is considered likely that UG-CERT is close to, or at ENISA Tier 2 standards.
