Assessment Commentary

The Digital Security Act of 2018 is a milestone in the pulling generating various initiatives (Digital Security Agency, Digital Forensic Lab, National CERT) that have the potential to significantly improve Bangladesh's cyber security; the legal sanctions to tackle cybercrime are also important. The formation of the National Cybersecurity Council in 2014 was clearly a key turning point in improving the country's cyber security.
