Kampala, Uganda: The UK Government together with the Ugandan Government have held a cyber capacity building event in Uganda under the Commonwealth Cyber Declaration agreed at the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which commits Commonwealth states to collective cyber security and building foundations.

Key findings
The UK has committed to £15 million available to support the implementation of the declaration through 2020 across 11 Commonwealth countries in Africa and Asia. | At the end of the workshop, Uganda will have a National Cyber Risk Assessment Report. This report will give an indication of the country’s Risk Profile.
