Highlights
In response to terrorism and attacks on Bangladesh security forces, the demand for security and defence services and equipment has increased. Defence and security expenditures in 2018-2019 fiscal year budget amounted to $3.45 Billion, an increase of 10% from previous year. According to consultancy Strategic Defence Intelligence (SDI) BD defence industry is largely underdeveloped with only limited domestic suppliers.
